Darrel Domann, MD, earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He completed his general surgery and plastic surgery residencies at Kansas City General and Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. He served as chief resident in plastic surgery at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

    Dr. Domann is board certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Medical Specialists. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Medical Society.

    He served a four-year gubernatorial appointment to the State Board of Health and the State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts. In 1970, Dr. Domann organized the Oral Cleft Clinic at Cox North and later at Cox South for the treatment of children with cleft lips and palates. This clinic continues today with numerous physicians, dentists and speech therapists through the Bureau of Special Health Care Needs.
