Employee Formal Recognition Program
To treat those we serve with respect and compassion has always been
an important element in the goals of CoxHealth. The PARTNERS Spirit Recognition
Program provides a way to recognize those employees, volunteers and physicians
who deliver outstanding service and care to our patients, family members,
fellow employees and other visitors.
Who to Nominate?
PARTNERS Spirit is designed to acknowledge those CoxHealth employees,
including managers, volunteers, administrators and physicians, who help
make our health care system a better place for our customers and for us.
- The employee went out of their way to exceed a CoxHealth
Service Excellence Standard or PARTNERS value.
- The gesture or service was above and beyond normal job requirements
- The employee, physician or volunteer went beyond the call of duty
to ensure the needs of a patient, visitor, or fellow employee were met.
How to Nominate?
Patients, visitors, physicians, volunteers/auxiliary members
and fellow employees are invited to nominate employees, physicians or
volunteers who have displayed PARTNERS Spirit. For staff to be recognized,
a PARTNERS Spirit Nomination Form must be completed, signed and dropped
into any PARTNERS Spirit box or mailed to the address on the form.
PARTNERS in Caring Values
Positive Attitude - A positive attitude is focusing
on what is useful, beneficial and worthwhile in each and every situation.
Your attitude is displayed through your words, actions and facial expressions.
Awareness - Awareness is being sensitive to the safety,
health and needs of our customers. It is being aware of your surroundings
and maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of our customers.
Respect - Respect the individuality of others through
courtesy, kindness and good manners. Use non-judgmental behavior at all
Teamwork - Teamwork is helping each other win and taking
pride in each other’s victories. No one person or department alone
can provide for the comprehensive needs of our customers. We achieve our
goals and save lives working together as a team.
Nurturing - Nurturing involves the natural things we
do to comfort and encourage those around us. It is the touch of a caring
hand, a kind voice, listening, anticipating, and just being there.
Educate - It is our responsibility to be informed employees
so that we may accurately educate and direct our customers.
Responsibility - Responsibility is acting with initiative
and courage and understanding that our organization and our customers
are depending on us.
Service - Service is everything we do to exceed the
needs and expectations of our customers at all times.
