C.A.R.E. Mobile
(Children Are Really Excellent)
Children's Miracle Network
The C.A.R.E. Mobile is a children�s clinic on wheels that offers basic
health services for children from birth to age 18. This mobile clinic
treats over 15,000 children annually in Springfield, Branson and Monett,
providing immunizations, checkups, sports physicals, treatment of common
childhood illnesses and other primary care.
These services are made possible by donations from community sponsors
like Great Southern Bank, CoxHealth Auxiliary, Alltel and the Silver Dollar
City Foundation. Because of this generous support, there is no charge
for visiting the C.A.R.E. Mobile, even if the child doesn�t have insurance
or Medicaid coverage.
Please remember there are no appointments on the C.A.R.E. Mobile, except
during back-to-school immunization time. Waiting time is unpredictable.
We work as quickly as we can, but we do take time to be thorough because
every child deserves the best care possible. If your child needs services
during the school year, your school nurse can help you find a way to access
us.
The CA.R.E. Mobile makes rounds to Caring Communities elementary and
middle schools in Springfield, as well as many other communities in the
Children's Miracle Network service area. A weekly schedule
for the C.A.R.E. Mobile is posted on our web site and is also available
by calling us at 417/269-5437.
