Can I make a credit card donation?
Yes. Call the CoxHealth Foundation at 417/269-7150. We will need your
card type, number and expiration date, in addition to the amount you would
like to gift and your address to mail your tax receipt. It’s that
simple.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes. The CoxHealth Foundation is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization.
Your gift can receive all tax benefits as allowable by law. Please consult
your attorney or tax consultant prior to making a gift to any charitable
organization.
Can I designate where or what I want my money to do?
Yes. The CoxHealth Foundation works to match each donor with a specific
area of interest. Donors who match their gift to their interest or emotional
ties are often more satisfied donors. The CoxHealth Foundation has
established funds in a variety of areas including: cancer, heart disease,
diabetes, pediatrics, senior services, women’s services, pastoral
care, nursing, technology, health education and many more. The Foundation
is also happy to work with you to create a fund to memorialize or honor
someone to support an area of interest when the gift is in the amount
of $5,000 or more.
If I can only make a small gift at this time, will it make a difference?
Yes! Gifts of all sizes are important to the growth and development of
the health care needs of CoxHealth. We welcome your donation!
Can you work with me to receive a matching gift from my corporation?
Yes! Many corporations have matching gift programs. After you have made
your gift please forward any matching-gift forms or requirements to CoxHealth
Foundation and we will gladly complete them to grow your gift!
What opportunities are there for recognition?
The CoxHealth Foundation recognizes all gifts annually in the July issue
of HealthSense magazine. Additionally, gifts are recognized on our donor
appreciation wall in the lobby of Cox South hospital at the following
levels: $5,000 and up—Chairman’s Circle, $1,000-$4,999—President’s
Circle and $500-$999—Benefactors, $100-$499—Supporters, $1-$99—Sustainers.
Commemorative opportunities are available throughout CoxHealth
starting at $15,000. Contact the Foundation for a "Commemorative
Gift Opportunities" booklet.
