Cox Rehabilitation Services
The most important members of the treatment team are the
patient and the family. We encourage family members, caregivers and significant
 others
to be involved in the rehabilitation process by participating in planning,
goal-setting and evaluating, and by taking part in supportive activities.
Patients can be overwhelmed by the challenges they face.
A disabling injury or illness can dramatically alter a person�s life.
Family members are a valuable resource of information and provide unique
insight into the patient�s ability to cope with and adjust to necessary
lifestyle changes.
Each patient�s treatment program unites advanced medical
services and specialized nursing care with staff experienced in rehabilitation.
All therapies and programs are administered by experienced clinical specialists
under the direction of board-certified physicians specialized in physical
medicine and rehabilitation.
Our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team combines advanced
diagnostic techniques and new treatment options to respond to the diverse
needs of individuals with disabilities. Each team member works with the
patient to re-shape lost abilities, learn new skills and cope with adjustment
issues.
