Coordination re-training
Edema management
Pain management/treatment
Adaptive equipment
Sensory desensitization
Sensory re-education
Strengthening
Work hardening
Scar management
Range of motion exercises
Splint fabrication (protective/immobilizing or dynamic/static)
Patient education/injury prevention
Serial casting

Services are provided by occupational therapists and/or physical therapists specialized in both neurological and orthopedic disorders. A certified hand therapist is available at both the Cox South and Cox North Hand Clinic.

Patient Profile

We treat Individuals experiencing hand problems or injuries including, but not limited to:

Wrist/finger fractures, flexor/extensor tendon injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, tendinitis, post-joint replacement, plastic surgery, amputations, lacerations, avulsions, nerve damage, contusions, replantations, crush injuries, revascularizations, reflex sympathetic dystrophy and ganglionectomies.
