Cox Pediatric
Therapy Services
Pediatric therapy sessions tailored to each child's individual
needs.
Individual therapy sessions and interdisciplinary rehabilitation
services are provided on an outpatient
basis for children to improve their physical abilities, communicative
abilities and level of daily function. Evaluation and treatment is provided
with a focus on family education.

- Developmental follow-up screenings by interdisciplinary team
- Feeding/swallowing disorders, evaluation and treatment
- Family education and training
- Interactive computer activities
- Infant hearing screening
- Splinting for neuromuscular disorders
- Gait training/crutch training
- Individualized nutritional consult
- Assistance with acquiring specialized equipment
Infants, children and adolescents from birth to age 18 who
have experienced a developmental delay, head
injury, spinal cord injury or other illness or injury are appropriate
for referral. Specialty areas include computer-enhanced treatments and
feeding/swallowing assessments for infants and young children. An interdisciplinary
developmental follow-up screening is provided for high-risk infants to
identify their needs for appropriate services and/or community resources.
Services are provided by staff specialized in pediatric
care with experience treating both orthopedic and neurological diagnoses.
Our team consists of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech/language
pathologists, audiologists, and dietitians.
