Admission and Referrals
Cox Rehabilitation Services
Referrals
Referrals may be initiated by physicians, case managers,
social workers or other allied health care professionals. In addition,
self-referrals and referrals from family members are welcome. You may
initiate a referral by calling 417/269-6892.
Admission Process
All patients are screened before admission to the Rehabilitation
unit. Admissions are considered on an individual basis. An assessment
is made of the patient’s potential to benefit from rehabilitative services.

Cox Inpatient Rehab is committed to providing the most effective
and efficient comprehensive rehabilitation services in southwest Missouri.
Our goal is to help patients recovering from injury or illness reach their
highest level of physical, psychological, social, vocational and educational
potential.
Cox is committed to quality care and service excellence
by providing ongoing education, support, preservation of rights and advocacy
for individuals who have experienced a disabling injury or illness. This
includes a commitment to eliminate gaps in treatment services, develop
resources to meet the needs of persons with disabilities and be responsive
to those we serve.
