How we can help you
- Patients: We provide around the clock services, and healthcare
that cannot
be matched. Our equipment is state-of-the-art and our nurses care as
much about you as you do. Home Parenteral Services works with your
doctors, social workers and hospitals to make you as comfortable as
possible.
- Physicians: One phone call to HPS assures you of comprehensive,
coordinated care for your patient. We can arrange for all areas of
service – nurses, pharmaceuticals, supplies and equipment – to
ease your patient’s transition from hospital setting to home.
- Hospitals,
Discharge Planners and Social Services:
 We work
closely with physicians, hospital staff and medical social workers
to ensure that the patient’s transition from hospital to home
setting is as smooth as possible. Prior to discharge, we assess the
patient’s needs and educate him or her about the many aspects
of their home therapy. This decreases patient anxiety and promotes
continuity of care.
- Home Health Agencies: Because we are a pharmacy provider
and not a home health agency, we can work hand-in-hand with the
home health agency on a support basis. Our IV specialized nurses can
orient and provide back up to ensure optimum level of patient care.
Home Parenteral Services is committed to doing what is best
for the patient. There are requirements that need to be met before Medicare,
Medicaid or private insurance companies pay for home infusion. We provide
complete third party billing for supplies, solutions, drugs and equipment
at cost-effective pricing. We do coverage verification of insurance and
have an extensive knowledge of Medicare reimbursement.
